In my teaching carrier I used different types of method like


  • Lecture Method
  • Group Discussion
  • Games & Activity
  • Project Work
  • Chart Preparation
  • Power point presentation
  • Motivational videos
  • some expert guest lecture

  • When I start the session first I prepare the energy activity for the students & start the lecture. In my class the siiting arrangement is in half circle so I can pay attention to all students

    When I start the session I with brief information of the topic & also see that all students are paying attention , listening properly ,understand the topic, ask the question. To make the session I give live eg . This is a Tcl

    I prepare different teaching method in different topic. When I take the group dicussion session which helps the students to angage with topic , try to take part in discussion, those shy studentd cant speak they also try to take the part in discussion .

    All this different session which i used in my classroom that give the studens knowledge,increase their skill, they grow up the confidence level,get capable to solve the problem .We should use the differnet method in the classroom because all the students are not from same background So this differnt learning method involve them to participate with interest. They develop their creativity This is scl

    The Teachers aim is to make the students successful.

    scals-method use in class



    I applied many methods in my teaching carrier among them I like one or two different to make class active.    First of all I select round sitting arrangement that can be easy to look everyone and make question answers them. Moreover, we can understand low level student and well perform student.
    Before I start lecture method, I give over view (information) of topic and what students learn after this session. And what activity include in this topic. This strategy gives student to start thinking process towards topic.
    After that I use lecture method to give contain information and student listen properly. This is TCL.  During lecture I ask lots of question using question tag. So I make sure student are really getting knowledge in their mind and aware about learning. And wait for response from majority student. I use digital method to go into depth of topic. After so many interactions student can solve their problems in session. TCL and SCL are useful for making active class. As a result, Students give positive response. Group discussion and role play makes live learning environment and create understanding platform for student.
    I make groups and each group has 4 to 5 student. And every group learners has assignment to perform it. I give space to perform task in own way under some rules and my supervision. Students learn on their own, they learn to be independent and make their own decisions.  Again here TCL and SCL both combine works together and make concrete relationship between student and teacher. 
    In Conclusion students get more interest to learn and give full attendance. They feel real work environment and satisfied with their expectation or needs.     
    In student central learning there are some problems occur that students are talking, classrooms are often busy, noisy and chaotic. Teachers must attempt to manage all students’ activities at once, which can be difficult when students are working on different stages of the same project.

    Methods used in my classrooms...

    In my classroom i used different kind of methods...
    like..
    some time start my lecture straight away with introduction to the topic.
    TCL.

    group activity.
    debate.
    discussion.
    project and market survey.
    some motivational videos.
    some powerpoint presentations.
    games and story telling.
    chart making and presentation of that chart.
    peer learnings.
    workbooks and assessments also.
    guest and success full students lectures.
    SCL

    Objectives of using this different kind of methods in my classroom are..
    to give students a good knowledge.
    give courage and motivation and self confidence to live in the society.
    engage learners more in the classroom.
    make participation more effective.
    remove stage fear and facing the real life challenges.
    provide some concrete skills so they can earn themselves.
    to find their own ways of success and find solutions to their problems..


    bring out their hidden potential and creativity.

    I use this all methods because all learners are not on same ground and same back ground.
    we have to keep all learners on the same pitch.
    so if we try this kind of different methods in our classrooms all can take positive points which they want.
    we have to teach that leaning is a life long process and journey..

    students responds in the staring is not well.
    but after two or three days they find interesting and after they participate and involve very well.
    some learners are very fast and creative.
    some are leaders and some are shy.
    but i try to make them learn by peer learning.
    they can learn themselves and helps others to learn..
    it encourages and motivates us also..

    and in the end its all about Relationship...

    I give u three links of different kind of student centred learning.
    one video is same like rowdy video.
    where old method of teaching is been applied for students teaching.
    and after realization the teacher changes his method of teaching like student centred leaning.

    In the second link its all about student driven lessons and projects.
    in this video i saw that planning in the right way is very important and then give students voice and choice in the progress.
    introduction to the topic is also very important for student centred learning.
    let the student seek the answers independently.
    let them find them own answers.
    make time for reflection and revision.
    most imp is discussion with peers.
    last but not the least have students track their own progress.

    Methods used in Classroom

    Hello!

    In my classroom I use different methods of teaching like

    • Teacher centered learning - Introducing the topic/session
    • Role plays
    • Group discussion
    • Activities like Pick and speak, Pick and act.
    • Debate
    • Videos
    • Ppt
    • Arts/craft
    Objectives:
    • To give clarity on the topic and involve learner' attention
    • To engage learner in class and develop their confidence
    • To provide opportunity to learners to raise their voice, express their views, ideas as well as to bring out their creativity.
    • It also enables them to observe, listen, analyse and come with different opinions and solutions
    • It also instigates them to think beyond and thought process never ends. 
    • To help them develop their skills and learn by doing, and help their peers when they are stuck with some process of learning.
    • To create positive learning environment so as to build positive attitude.
    According to my experience involving different methods in a classroom is a good thing but there should be a systematic way in using different methods. There should be some meaning and drawing connections between each method is also necessary. As there are learners coming from different places with different learning styles, it is very much required to use multiple methods as it will create interest, bring out creativity, own the learning process, to build and develop their skills and create a positive learning environment.

    Learners have responded creatively with lot of energy, enthusiasm, and i also observed the peer learning where each one was helping the other. There was effective participation which boosted my energy to do more and more.

     In this video its show the difference between teacher centred & students centre classes. Its discuss about project based learning as the solution to implementing truly student centre classes. Its also show that students should learn by practising doing & collaborating. As much as possible students should be involved in planning their learning & thinking about its effectiveness. Students should do as much as possible for themselves. Students should also learn in group.

    Methods used in classroom.

    Usually i use Aural-Oral Method and Projector Method

    1.Aural-Oral method is based on oral teaching and learning in which teacher ask questions to the students before presented a lesson and content.Written work is minimal as in poetry and story telling after role play is conducted on the base of the theme of the story and poem.

    Objective: The main objectives of the above method are;
    1.To make students effective in listening.
    2.To let the students free in their perception regarding theme.
    3.To make them able reciting poems and stories,.
    4.To make them able in extempore.

    It is the best method for learning if electronic devices are not available at a time.
    Students make their own perception finding out the moral and massage and translating poems according their own they feel.They try to respond well but sometimes it hampers because of large number of students in a class.

    2.Projecter Method .is based on E.learning in which content is displayed on the projector first then ask questions to the students related to the content.As i do when teach Liquid English in which every lesson displayed first then teacher use to translate afterword.At the end of the lesson there is a activity or role play by the students as well teacher for better understanding of the lesson or content learnt.

    Objective: The  main objective of the above method are as follow;
    1.To let the students know about E-learning.
    2.To make class interactive and effective.
    3.To make students aware of the realia.
    4.To make students able in understanding the role play.

    I used the method because by seeing things or doing we learn much better than oral practice.

    As the students really enjoyed the learning and the interact in the class and TCL&SCL both are used in that way.The students are always ready for an activity and role play.
